The Airman & Family Readiness Center is a one-stop information and referral center, providing resources and services to all active duty, guard, reserves, retired service members,their families and DOD civilians. The A&FRC works in conjunction with base helping agencies and community partners to provide effective consultation, educational classes, workshops and activities that help sustain work life balance, strengthen communities, encourage self-sufficiency, enhance mission readiness and ease adaption to the Air Force way of life. The staff is committed to providing a range of quality programs to meet the needs of Schriever airmen and their families.

Air Force Aid Society emergency assistance is available to Airmen and their eligible family members to meet immediate needs in an emergency situation.  The Society provides interest free loans and grants based on the individual situation.

Relocation Assistance provides assistance, counseling sponsorship training, and education throughout all of the phases of the relocation process. Read More

Transition Assistance helps separating and retiring military members and their families make informed decisions and a smooth transition from military service to civilian life.

Employment Assistance supports military, civilians and family members in achieving short and long-term employment, by referring for education/training and portable careers in the private and public sectors.  Services also include resources for self-employment, small business and entrepreneurial efforts, local labor market information, skills development workshops, and other on and off base resources.

Personal Financial Management provides financial education, information, and counseling that equips service members to address their current personal financial situations, maximize their financial resources and effectively handle any financial challenges that may arise throughout their military life.
