Zip Lining: May 13, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., South Cheyenne Canyon
Soar through the sky on this high-flying adventure that propels you across “The Grandest Mile of Scenery in Colorado”. Located in the secluded South Cheyenne Canyon at the picturesque Seven Falls. You’ll soar over steep drops, rock
formations and jagged cliffs then across the Seven Falls Canyon. This course also features several custom-built suspension bridges and a controlled 180 ft. rappel to the canyon floor. Hot Air Ballooning: May 21, 5:30 a.m. – 1 p.m., Colorado Springs
Fly high and see Colorado Springs from new heights on this thrilling adventure. No two flight patterns are ever the same and the total flight time and landing area cannot be determined prior to the flight. This is a great experience for the whole family. All necessary equipment, snacks, water, guides and technical instruction. No previous experience required, Guest must provide weights before signing up. Half Day Whitewater Rafting: June 11, 7 a.m. – 4 p.m., Bighorn Sheep Canyon
Float your way down a beautiful stretch of the Arkansas River through Bighorn Sheep Canyon. This section of river flows through an area where folks can often see wild bighorn sheep roaming about the canyon hills from inside raft. You will be rowing in teams of four and with the help of your guide, navigate the several whitewater rapids that keep this section of river plenty exciting. You will learn about paddle techniques, fitting equipment, hydrology, and more whilst on this 2.5 hour trip. This trip is a great introduction to whitewater rafting if you have never done so before. (Duration of journey is dependent on water flow). The trip includes transportation all necessary equipment, snacks, water, guides and technical instruction. Cog Up Bike Down: June 16, 7 a.m. – 4 p.m., Bighorn Sheep Canyon
On this trip, our group will ride the historic Cog Railway to the top of Pikes Peak and then mountain bike down the Pikes Peak Highway to our final pick-up location. This tour will showcase some of the best views Colorado Springs has to offer. The Cog Railway will have an educational aspect to the day focusing on the history of the area. Guest will need to have previous experience riding Mountain bikes for this event. The trip includes transportation all necessary equipment, snacks, water, guides and technical instruction. Sky Diving: June 25, 7 a.m. – 4 p.m., Limon, Colorado
Join us for an adrenaline-charged jump with Out of the Blue Skydiving near Limon Colorado. Be ready to tuck and roll out of the plane and scream all the way down as you push your comfort zone and show yourself what your made of. You will tandem jump with a qualified instructor and several other members of the group in this life-changing experience. Photos and videos can be added to capture your freefall and showcase your wild side at an additional cost if requested. SAPI – Smallmouth Bass Fishing: May 14
Single Airmen Program Initiative (SAPI) events are for any single officer or enlisted member on Schriever Space Force Base. Learn how to fish from a specialized guide who will teach you light line “Finesse” fishing techniques. Trip includes transportation, boat, gear, tackle, and guide. Switch-A-Roo: May 20, 7 a.m., Fitness Center
